Midterm... Continued
Processing and Trig... I really did spend days simply staring at my computer screen and at the sin wave that was on it...
The midterm was nice, as I was able to explore with particle systems, as well as trig. However I would still like to integrate all of the various things that I have learned about code, and put the peices together more fluently. Here are some examples of what i have done just exploring mainly with the parts:
The first exploration of a sine wave ended up not looking as great as I wanted it to...
i am embarrassed about my first few sine wave studies... here
but after some exploration, i realized that simplicity is best for the beautiful sine wave, and so this is what I came up with:
Beautiful Sine Wave
Another Wave Study
and another... i have to say i really like this one as well. I think the next step would be to integrate some kind of a system within the wave system where the waves are effecting each other in a more complex way...
I also wanted to experiment with polymorphism and inheritance:
really primitive example based on Dan's
and another...
I think I am going to continue to explore with waves, but the next step would be to introduce forces/vectors, inheritance and polymorphism into the actual structure of the waves that I am interested in. Here are some examples of some sketches that are static, but could be eventually turned into motion graphics:
First example of wavy lines that really want to move and dance, and
more wavy action
